Project Requirements

For this specific circuit to work, your DAC needs to use:

(a) 11.2896 MHz clock

(b) 5V

(c) Dac chip can accept i2s input

(d) You can position the reclocking board close to the Dac’s clock & data pins

(e) You are able to install a power supply in your dac to power the reclocking board. To work with a 5V Tent Shunt Regulator, the voltage should be 7-11V and can be higher if you use the LM7808 regulator spec’d on the Layout and Parts List (my power supply was 18V)

Please don’t attempt to implement this specific circuit unless these conditions exist.

Before attempting these mods, please build the reclocker board.
